Darlene writes about her Mid-Creek Shepherds puppy:

"Smokey is an absolute joy to have. He is exactly what I would expect from a GSD. Intelligent, eager to please, loving, even temperament, strong nerves, inquistive, and a breeze to train. I couldn't be happier with the new additions to our "pack" from Mid-Creek Shepherds!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mid-Creek Shepherds to any responsible breeders\owners that I know who are looking for a quality puppy!

"Cheyenne" is one of our Wolf Hybrid pups out of our "Asia X Zidane" litter whelped on 6-11-10. She is owned by Mark in Henagar, Alabama (Darlene's husband). Or rather, Mark is owned by Cheyenne!

Mark writes about his Wolf Hybrid puppy from Mid-Creek Shepherds:

"From the moment we picked up Cheyenne she bonded with me immediately. She was not content to sit in Darlene's lap in the front seat, nor was she content to be in the back seat with Smokey.

She whined and crawled up the back of the drivers seat and perched on my shoulder for about 30 minutes of the 3 1/2 hour drive home until I told her she had to get off my shoulder. At that time she shimmied down my chest, laid in my lap and stayed there the entire time except for potty breaks along the way!

She is exceptionally intelligent and out of the two pups was the first one to indicate to Darlene 3 days after coming home with us that she had to go outside to potty. (Darlene started potty training from the second they came into our possesion).

Smokey is a solid patterned blue out of a GSD litter by "Lady" and "Zidane". Two solid blues were a total shock to us in this litter, and after consulting a canine color genetics expert (Darlene) she assured us that the pups were perfectly normal and healthy despite their "odd" color. Considering we wanted to take our breeding program to a "another level" we decided to spay Lady and place her with my brother who has been in love with her since the day he met her.

She is an amazing animal and surprises me everyday with how intelligent she really is. While I wouldn't recommend an inexperienced person to take on a Wolf Hybrid, if you are an experienced dog owner, these animals are an entirely different experience. They are truly amazing animals and I am now completely hooked!"
